What a Day!!!

I had such a day today, it will take me far too long to write it by hand so I must type it here and save over half the time. It's 1 in the morning so I'm tired and this is fast. :)

Started with waking up and getting ready for school.

I went to school, it was raining. First thing I did was go to my cello lesson. It went very well. I like my lessons.

After that I went to my first class, Oral Interpretation. It was interesting as we watched people perform their "Observation of a Stranger" monologues and then answer questions. (I did mine on Wednesday). During that class I heard of a sale that was going on at the book store.

So after class I went to the book store and got myself a nice hoodie and nice sweat pants for $20 total.

Walked back and forth outside in the rain trying to find a place to eat/get money. Couldn't find any, so I drove off and ate at Hardee's. I discovered I get a student discount, and what could have been a $7 meal ended up being about $3.50! :D Then I went back to school, chilled in my dad's office, then went to my History of Music class. We watched the first few parts of the first opera, Orpheo. Definitely an.. interesting.. performance.

Then I went and practiced cello.

At 3:00 I had my Recital Class and listened to some students perform.

I went back upstairs and practiced piano.

Then I went home, and then I went back to Clarke to get instructions on my new Stage Managing position in the music dept. Pretty simple.

After this, I went to UD and picked up Amy (a new YSA member from Salt Lake) to go shopping. She got herself a cute/good jacket and khaki pants that she needed. I got a cute dress (one of those floor length flowing ones that you wear a tshirt underneath, and it was just the right length so I don't look like a little girl playing dress up. I'm so short and some of those dresses are so long! This one was PERFECT. I also found I have jewelry at home already that matches it perfectly. Ahh I'm so excited to wear it. :) Then I also got shoes.

Amy and I browsed a lot of stores. Not quite in this order, but we hit: Maurice's, Khols, Old Navy, Famous Footwear, Dress Barn. And at the mall we hit: well, just about every clothing store except Hot Topic, Deb, CJ Banks/Christopher & Banks, and Sears. We got JC Penny, Younkers, Buckle, Rue 21, aero (my first time in there.. O_o), American Eagle (my 2nd time in there?) Gap, Pac Sun, some sports shoes stores, PayLess, I think a couple more, and we also got some pretzel bits from the Pretzel Maker (yum!!!) and after we were all done shopping, we went to Bandana's to get tastey bbq dinner. Delicious. mmm mmm mm. Then we went to UD, I got to see her dorm, then we came back to my house and watched The Terminal.

Over all I had a very satisfying day. :D
