Excellence

So many good things just keep on happening. And I'm so grateful for them all. Just a whole bunch of everything. Big things, little things, long term things, short term things, so many excellent things. I won't go into listing them all, but I figure either one of 3 things is happening:

-I'm either doing something really right and am being blessed,
-The Lord has something planned and I am being blessed with such happy and wonderful things so that I can then return the favor soon (example: I gave you ALLLLLL this. Now I want this big thing from you in return!)
-Or I'm just simply beginning to notice even more of the little things in life to be grateful for. I'm pretty sure I already did th at, but I could be growing in it?

And btw, I'm kidding about that 2nd option. Even if it is true someday (which no doubt it will be, we all have hard times where we have to sacrifice and give of ourselves, and my life is still young and growing), you know, that's ok. In the mean time, I'll just be grateful and continue in doing what I need to do.

Some excellent things are happening. Both big and small. They include the joyful Christmas season, getting extremely good grades in all of my classes, I'm also doing well in performing in my classes, I'm mastering music I thought impossible to master in time for my finals, yet again, my favorite orchestral piece is on the radio this morning, Fantasy on a Theme of Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan Williams. I hit the snooze button one extra time than I normally do, and the Iowa Public Radio person said they'd be playing this now, and so it did. Also the other day another piece on my top favorite pieces played, Beethoven's 7th Symphony. We got music for the New World Symphony (which used to be on my playlist here but I took it off because I can't stand that recording), all movements for Youth Symphony and I'm so excited to play that. I'm also excited for the cello concerto I'm learning, it's coming along great and my instructor is so excited for me and is very impressed, yet at the same time I'm learning a LOT. He's impressed with how quickly I'm learning and how well I understand. I learned recently that I might get my braces off at either the end of this month or January!!!! I'm so excited! I'm also enjoying talking with an excellent friend of mine, we talk almost every day and we're just blossoming, and he may get to come up and see me in my spring break in 3 months! I'm so excited, and he is too. It's just amazing. Even though it's cold and I really really really hate the cold (and this is just the beginning-the 20s are going to be WARM in a month), the snow is very pretty (from inside by the fireplace). The relationship between my siblings and me, despite me being very busy with school and them being busy with their work anyway, is really growing and all of us are becoming closer friends than ever before. And I love it. I'm also getting better at forming a habit of reading my scriptures daily. :) So many wonderful things still, I won't go into listing the rest because I don't have time and I need to get ready to go to class here.
I hope anybody who reads this has an excellent day as well, and that you have a cheerful holiday. :)
